The Annual Charity Carnival is organized for the 8^th year in a row by group of expatriate women who want to support children with medical needs in Shanghai in cooperation with the Shanghai Children’s Health Foundation.

The 8^th Annual Charity Carnival will be a whole day dedicated to children with games, face painting, kids’ craft, art and craft vendors, a huge raffle and live auction and a continuous entertainment program with acrobatic, dance, Kung Fu and magic shows!

Our goal for The 8th Annual Charity Carnival on November 8 2009 at the Millennium Hongqiao Hotel is to raise RMB 300,000 of donations to help 5 CHINESE children who are suffering from Congenital Heart Disease in partnership with The Shanghai Children’s Health Foundation.

The 8^th Annual Charity Carnival proceeds will finance the life-saving operations of five children suffering from congenital heart disease. In the past 7 years, the Charity Carnival had raised RMB 1.6 million and helped 32 children go through successful medical operations and provided a number of school children with medical finances.

“A NIGHT OF PASSION” GALA DINNER

The Annual Charity Carnival sincerely appreciates the generous support and enthusiastic participation of our friends and sponsors in our “A Night of Passion” Charity Gala Dinner held on Saturday, May 9 2009, at the Millennium Hotel Hongqiao.

We are indeed grateful for this is not just a good beginning for The 8^th Annual Charity Carnival, but also, with the net amount of donation raised totaling RMB 36,569 from the event, we already guaranteed the financial assistance for one beneficiary child suffering today with Congenital Heart Disease. With this donation, a 5 year-old boy named Zhu Zhe Xun, receives OUR GIFT OF NORMAL LIFE. From today, he has HOPE to lead a NORMAL LIFE and the life of his family will be made better.

THE 7^TH ANNUAL CHARITY CARNIVAL… LUNCHEON WITH BENEFICIARY CHILDREN

THE 7^TH ANNUAL CHARITY CARNIVAL 2008 IS SINCERELY GRATEFUL TO THE WHOLE COMMUNITY WHO HELPED US LAST YEAR REACHED A DONATION OF RMB 491,135.73.

This donation were truly a Gift of LIFE to 11 children who went through successful “life–changing” medical operations and are now as healthy as any normal child we know of today !

Eight of these children were with us at the Luncheon, February 16 2009 at the Millennium Hotel Hongqiao Shanghai. We had the opportunity to see for ourselves how happy and healthy these children are today, and how much we have made a difference to the families we have touched!

The success of bringing together a big gathering of fun-loving people with a heart to help children suffering with congenital heart disease requires the generous support of partners, sponsors, and the whole community. By bringing the beneficiary children together today at this Luncheon, The Annual Charity Carnival expresses in simple ways our gratitude to the continuous support of our partners, Millennium Hongqiao Hotel Shanghai, Asian Tigers Relocation, Howard Johnson Plaza Ningbo, and OmBraMaiFu, whose participation last year went a long way in making the event a reality.
